Dr Andreas Lendle joined the OCTA in 2014 as the Trade Economist. Andreas is responsible for negotiations on tariff commitments and rules of origin. Prior to working for the OCTA, he was based in Geneva, where he completed his PhD in International Economics at the Graduate Institute (HEID). He has previously worked on WTO disputes with Sidley Austin, a leading United States law firm. Andreas has also undertaken a wide range of consultancy work in the Pacific region on trade negotiations during 2010 to 2012, both related to the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) negotiations and PACER Plus. He also spent two years working in the Ministry of Trade of Guyana as an Overseas Development Institute (ODI) Fellow.
